Subject: Thinking of you all daily

Hi Guys!! Just wanted to let you know that I listen to Ace & TJ every morning on my way to work, and the one thing that I listen for most these days is a new letter from Staff Sgt. Lucy, just to find out how all of you are doing. I know how hard it must be to be so far away from family, friends, and loved ones, but rest assured that there are many people right here in North Carolina who have you in their thoughts & prayers daily, myself included. It takes a special kind of person to willingly put their life on the line for their country & for people you've never met, so if no one else tells you today what awesome people you are, let me be the first.

I'd also like to say that I am a single mother, trying to raise my 8 yr old daughter to understand what is happening in our world today, and to also be proud for the freedom that we all sometimes take for granted. I hope that as she grows up, she is someone that everyone can always be proud to know.....someone like those of you aboard the USS Kittyhawk.

I'm sure that there might be a lot of down time for you there in between missions, so if anyone would like to write back & forth, I'd love to hear from you!! Just so you can get a mental picture of what I look like, I am 34, 5'7, long light brown hair, green eyes, and 120 pounds. Don't want this to sound like some singles personal ad, just know when you're talking thru the mail, it's nice to have SOME idea of what the other person looks like.
