Subject: Safe and Secure!

I am a single mother of two beautiful little boys. I would first like to say I can not imagine the worry that comes with having a child in the military. However, I know along with that comes the ultimate pride knowing that you all have the greatest honor and that is the opportunity to defend millions of people and keep us safe and secure.

As I go through my day, I think little of what goes on in your world until I am at home once again. I sit down to the computer and catch the daily news and everything that is going on. Then, reality sets in and for a few minutes I simply wonder what may happen tomorrow.

I realize now that special people in this world are meant to do truly special things. You all are those special people. If everyone took as much pride in what they do as do you all, then this world would be one hell of a place to live.

Thank you for what you do. May God bless you all and see you on a safe return to your families and friends.
