Subject: Yokosuka is Home

I just wanted to let you know that we appreciate your letters and getting a perspective other than that of the paranoid journalists and reporters that are over there with you. Your letters are an extra blessing to me because my parents are stationed in Yokosuka, Japan which you obviously know is the home of the Kitty Hawk. They've been in Japan for 10 years now and hearing your letters read on the air is like getting a little taste of home. I lived there for 4 years. You're doing a great thing; Charlotte and the rest of America is behind you. Hanging my flag every morning has been like getting the paper. It was just routine. After Sept. 11th it took on a new meaning. After hearing your emails read on the air, I realize every morning that I'm hanging that flag for you and every other military person over there. Thank you for protecting us and our freedom. Generations to come will thank you.
