Thank you SSGT. Lucy, for being one of the few and the proud. I was brought up in a military household, I wasn't a Marine Corp. "brat" but my Dad was a Marine, and like they say "once a marine, always a marine." I also dated and ex-marine for two years, so the Marine Corps. lifestyle is one that I am familiar with. I wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday on the 10th. Not many people celebrate the Marine Corps. birthday, but I do. As a Marine, I know you celebrate that day just as you would you're own birthday. So cheers to you and Happy Birthday Marine Corps!!! SEMPER FI! I also want you to know that I am so proud of all you guys serving your country as my father and grandfathers all did. There is something that becomes ingrained in you're blood when you grow up with such wonderful role models/heros to look up to. My flag flies everyday, as it always has, and it is a tribute and a thank you for the wonderful job you and you're men do, and as all marines do. Good luck in the days ahead of you - I hope that I am the first to wish you a Happy Birthday. I will tip my glass to you on Saturday! Make it home safely and keep in touch with Ace & TJ, I love to hear your updates in the morning on my way to work. Thank you, God Bless America!! We owe it all to men like you!!
