I wanted to drop you a line and let you know how proud I am of all you guys out there fighting this war. Without you, America would not be the great nation that it is today. I pray for you every day and look forward to your safe return home.
I just read thru all your letters (I got a bit behind over the past week or so) and almost cried~not sure if it was because I was sad or because I was so happy and proud! I too have a young daughter and I understand your confusion about enlisting for another 4 years. I can't even comprehend not hugging and talking to my "baby" everyday. I know that you feel confused about your future, but please know that if you follow your heart, everything else will fall into place. Your daughter will be so proud of you once she is old enough to understand exactly what you are doing for America and other free nations around the world.
Please keep safe and come home to us soon.
