Subject: Your homeland is proud of you

I pray continually for all of our leaders, that they lead wisely and well, and for you our fighting forces, that you are fighting not only for us but for God as well. We are SO PROUD of you; we love you and we definitely thank each and every one of you from our hearts, and will teach future generations to respect what you are doing and what you have done.

Whether or not you "feel like it", you are doing what you committed to do, for a goal greater than any one individual. Thank you for having the guts and the honor and the courage to do that! Athletes, actors and musicians are nothing more than "icing"; it is the firefighters, the rescue workers, and the fighting forces that are the TRUE HEROES of our nation. You are our best.

Five days ago I married a former Marine (if there is such a thing as a "former" Marine) who had been in Desert Storm and in Somalia. His service to his country is one of the many things that make me so very proud of him.

Thank you and God bless you. I pray that you all will turn to Him for your strength and courage.
