I agree (see devotional). I like hearing you list "daddy". The first series at the Bridge was kind of a "God is..." series and one of the sermons was God as Daddy. I remember e-mailing Ben with the PowerPoint for that week and explaining to him as I gave him my rationale for the pink to blue background (back then I was learning PowerPoint, so we didn't have the spectacular backgrounds we now enjoy) my thinking of a father as being a far off, arms length being that is only around for punishments and stuff. "Dad" or "daddy" is more the person who has a personal relationship with his child. The one who rolls on the floor and plays with a baby and as Ben's mother told Ben to "Look into your child's eyes and really listen."

I guess my image of Daddy is my favorite, however, you are right in saying that He has many roles -- none more important than others -- for us all.
