Need some help

I am trying very hard not to worry but need to share this with someone.

Jeff told me last night that he has worked over the house he is currently designing as much as he can. He is bored and is looking for other things to do so he needs to meet with his boss. He told me that his boss is in Telluride right now is coming back tomorrow afternoon and leaving again on Saturday afternoon. The only time they can meet to talk about this is Friday evening. Am I wrong to worry about him really having a date on Friday and that's why he is going to be out? He said he really wants to meet with him Friday afternoon and is hoping not to have to be talking with him on Friday evening but I am not sure I buy it. Just that nagging anxiety in the corner of my mind. Help me work through this please.
