I am shocked!

I hate to admit this, put you know I am doing alterations and a girl from my school gave me two pairs of pants to hem. Both from The Gap. One a size 8 and the other a size 10. I just HAD to know. I tried them on. Horrible I know, but I launder them before I return them. Anyway, I tried on the size 8 and I could ACTUALLY FUCKING ZIP THEM UP! A size 8 is still too tight on me to wear out in public but I was completely shocked that I could even get them past my hips, let alone, zip them up. Then I tried on the 10's and they were actually more appropriate. Still tight in my big thighs but I think this is definite progress. I could not believe it. From a 16/14 to a 12/10 (I am saying 12/10 because I am guessing that 12's would fit if the 10's were a possibility). I know it was bad that I tried them on but I am very happy that I have made such progress!

We are definitely going to Arizona at Thanksgiving. I have got to turn it up a notch. I last saw Jeff's friend's at their wedding and I want to look very different when we go back. WHo cares if they notice! I will know.
