*The bright light of a full moon shines down on the lawn as a fox kit slips out the main door of the fort, dragging a heavy sack. He pulls the sack across the lawn to the dibbun den and slips inside, hoping nobeast has seen him. The gray-furred kit opens the sack and pulls out a flagon of strawberry fizz, three blueberry scones, half of a meadowcream pie, a jar of honey, two strawberry tarts, a couple pawfulls of candied chestnuts, and a large woodland summercream pudding. He spreads out the feast and waits for the other dibbuns to arrive.*
