You stop watering in September... I have a website for all this info, I forget, and start in the near spring, but if you want blooms for Christmas or soon after...?

Mine grow and grow out on the balcony without anysign of wanting to be anything beyond strap leaves.

They are REALLY easy to hand pollenate. And you get oddles and gobs of seeds. Trouble with that is, the seeds take from three to five years to grow to a plant that will bloom. BUT hey, half of gardening is seeing what you CAN do, not what's possible. Searching for that site...

Thanks! perL and Cena, I saw a post on another forum about someone who doesn't make them go dormant but they don't bloom.....Cena, tried your link but only got the page can't be displayed msg. Will try again later.
