Subject: Spring bug bites

It's early, not really spring yet, but somehow my psyche doesn't seem to know or care. Repotted a few plants already. I'll be tired of repotting before it's all done, but for now it's fun and I'll enjoy it. I refuse to think about the more than 2 doz. AVs wanting new pots and/or soil. Anyone else been bit?

Yep. I dug out rhizomes of Achimenes and potted 'em up today. Recently repotted my Kohleria 'Breedlove' and it didn't miss a beat. Still blooming like crazy. The thing is a hungry thirsty beast, bigger and biggger every day, blooming, blooming... I love it. Put some other gesneriads into terraria that were outgrowing the ones Jon put 'em up in. They look so happy. Rearranged the plants in the front window, and realized soon many will have to go to places with LESS INTENSE LIGHT!! THE SUN IS BACK!!! YIPPEE!!
(many have been crammed into that south window for the winter.)
Planted sweetpeas and snowpeas outside, and there are sprouts from beets and cilantro I planted a few days back.
I just hope no bugs bite those sprouts!

Yes - I have too - by the 'Flu with a capital F - I lost Saturday and Sunday from my life, and so did my daughter, we went down together. Thank God, that's how we knew it was a bug. Now, there're five more who might get it! I am on my feet again since yesterday and able to walk from bed to the sofa! - the garden seems a dream I once had!

Maggie, hope you and your daughter are top notch again soon. I had a nasty case of the flu last month. At least it wasn't when the weather was nice.
