The Pegasus Hub lacked the busy docking bay of Rugby. No distractions. Nothing to blend in with.

"Excuse my poor landing skills, please. But I did stay within the lines!" "Chester's" lower tendrils lifted him up to face the guards as he slyly pushed the gun away. He brought Kathryn closer to him, even letting her feet touch the ground. "My, uh, girlfriend here's been feeling a little sick, that's why I'm carrying her." That warmth returned when he said "girlfriend." But he immediately went back to scamming his way out of trouble. "Normally she drives, she's much better at it. Isn't that right, sweetie?"

"Chester" gave Kathryn a lustful look. She resisted any urge to scream.

"Yes, dear." She said, doing her best to sound spacesick. "Chester" grinned and looked back at the security personnel.

"Well...I'm happy to see with all the racism around, two species can still be in love. Enjoy your trip!" One said, the other still suspicious of "Chester Mann." Said Manches gave a quick thanks and headed over to the nearest map.

"You still can be useful. I need you to operate one of the jump ports while I make the preparations."

"But I�"

"A computer's a computer! You're closer to knowing how to use these things than I! I'll handle the coordinates, you put them in and turn it on! It can't be too hard, can it?"

He didn't even wait for a reply as he tapped the map and darted off towards the jump ports.
