Subject: "What's this @#$%?!"
In reply to: Hub Emergancy Message 's message, "the intercom blared" on 11:47:51 08/07/02 Wed

The starcar slowly landed from the Grigoris' travel. The doors opened, allowing clouds of smoke to pour out as the pair quickly put out their vision-inducing joints.

"What the @#$% is goin' on around here?!" Cal screamed. "Why the @#$% are all these people running?! What the @#$% is up with the cavity searches?! Why the @#$% am I asking all these questions?!"

Part of Cal wanted to drop the facade and just tear the elusive agent out of hiding with a twist of reality. But he'd cause too much damage. He had to remain content with not using his powers.

Silent Al leaned on the car's side, puffing away at a newly lit cigarette. It wouldn't be long before either "Chester Mann" would be found or his mission would be accomplished. Al hoped that they weren't just being distracted, missing a greater threat...maybe he was already in? No, no, the very presence of the Rebel would be noticed immediately. Even his agent was discovered quickly; the main reason he hadn't been found was that he wasn't as obvious as his superior.

Maybe it was just a diversion. Part of some unholy alliance. Maybe the return of the UB2K? It was possible. There were only two that had discovered the secret, besides the Grigoris, who were created because of it. But neither of the tiny terrors would be able to tolerate each other—one was bent on domination, the other on revenge. One would've tried to oust the other, believing his objective inferior.

Al worried what would happen even if they were successful. What would they do with little "Chester?" Write him as a kindly hot dog vendor? Lock him in some celestial jail cell? Others would be sure to follow, each one with a different way of opening a gateway.

Cal, on the other hand, awaited the confrontation that would undoubtedly ensue. The Grigoris would need to combine their efforts to deal with the threat that so desperately wanted back in the world he tried so hard to escape. But how could you kill something that truly didn't exist? It was hopeless. They too could always find a new way to keep going, but it would just be one massive war that would result in wasted time.

Suddenly, a collective thought popped up. The pair rushed to their ride's doors....

"Where's Walt?!"
