Subject: Depression

I dont want to be a chemical engineer because:

The pay is not great,
They all go bald due to hard hats,
chemistry does not excite me,
the whole thing wears me down with boredom
women dont fancy chemical engineers
i will never be able to afford a cool car or a plane,
they work all day and night
they all pretent to enjoy their jobs
water flow science is the sadest thing anyone could learn about,
id end up committing suicide
my dad would never repect me,
everybody should be more successfull than their fathers. I would not be,
I am a creative person. Not a loser of science
chem eng is not even interesting science,
i could never be my own boss
as far as i know i could only earn 30 grand a year max.
how could anyone limit themselves to that sort of exsistance,
Aim as high as possible. I.e run your own business or be in management
lab specs give me head aches,
I cant understand any of the work, i always seem to make a mistake or do it completely wrong,
.........

I do want to be a chemical engineer because:

Steve Mcquenes character in ‘the great escape’ was studying chem eng before the war.
Dr ###### #######

So why am I still on my fucking chem eng course after 2 years. I dont know what else to do.
