Woman killed at backpacker hostel

The woman's body was found outside a hostel
Detectives have launched a murder inquiry into the death of a woman at a backpackers' hostel in south Belfast.
The 29-year-old died after sustaining a head injury in Fitzwilliam Street at about 1900 BST on Sunday.

She is understood to have been staying at a hostel in the street, just off the Lisburn Road, and is not originally from Northern Ireland.

One woman has been arrested. A post mortem examination is expected to be carried out later on Monday.

The woman's name has not yet been released by police.
