I agree paul but the Students' union leaders did little in the way of protest and they could have. The Exhibition was being held in the Students' union confines at the invitation of a Magee students' union society.

The Union officers were and probably remain today, cowards and careerists. Some of the Union Officers, even said at the time that they are Irish Republicans. But they did not challenge the University or flex their own power to host the exhibition. But Queens Students Union hosted the exhibition without a hitch.

The Ulster University bosses are afraid of anything that challenges their Pro British and Anti Irish Nationalist view of the world. The Hunger strikers certainly highlight this more than any other issue in the North. The Ulster Students' Union Officers at Magee avoided the affair in the hope that it would go away quietly. Shame on them.
