Yes the Overall President has full authority on this matter and all matters regarding the Student union.

Our overall president is a male Grainne with no balls.

He may have made a comment in the press saying he thought the exhib should have been allowed like he had no say on the final matter. The student union is autonomous, its supreme governing body is the student council made up of students from all UU sites and includes the overall executive i.e. the nine sabbaticals.

In the interim of the student council meetings. The overall president decides unless challenged by the overall executive or UGMs, referendia etc what is Union policy or ok for us andon his own head so be it until the next deciding body meets i.e. Overall excutive.

This applies to the Overall President and all those student union officers who have and continue to meet with the Police Force.

All Union offices have there own voice and they have displayed no balls to challenge Professor Allen and the evident anti Irish prejudice within the establishment here at UU.

The Overall President seems more intent or at least preferred to upset Nationalists and republicans rather than Professors.
