Subject: Almond Roca Candy - Awesome!!!

1 large Hershey Bar (7-8oz) (grated fine)
9oz Almonds (not blanched, chopped fine)

Sprinkle one half the nuts on bottom of cookie sheet, then sprinkle one half the grated chocolate over this.

Cook 1 pound butter (do not sub) and 2 cups white sugar till 300 degrees - stirring constantly. This is just the point of burning and gives the carmel flavor to the mixture. Pour over layers on the pan and then add one half the chocolate, top with remaining nuts. Be sure to have pan prepared before starting the butter and sugar mixture. Makes about 3 and one half pounds of candy.
