But yet how dare she attack his lead mare? But she was only protecting her filly.....Did she want to leave Lightning?? The answer is a definant NO. Did she want Lightning to take her filly away?? Another no. Did she want to hert the lead mare?? No, she ws trying to protect her foal....She looks at Lightning...Where had he been...She nuzzles him...What is wrong?? she asks. She turns and looks at the mare dubbed Kalina, she understood her motherly instict to protect the filly, for had she not been protective of Yarrawa, and still is? for she had grown close to the filly, while they were at anothers tt, for she had sworn to protect her and watch over her. She looks back at Lightning and stands by him, for he was weak and should rest, she nuzzles him telling him to lean on her as she takes him to a soft and warm place to lie down to rest.
