She was one of his treasured mares..all of them were. He didn't mean to neglect any of them..he whinnies after her..long and loud..then he realized, he wanted a bond with his all his herd members..not just the ranked members.. She extends her muzzle and blows her icey breath in to his nose. She emits a low pitched sound. Eyes distant even thou she was standing next to him. She turns her face toward the horizon, almost asking for a walk. She steps foreward. Quietly pacing in and around the trees. As silent as a panther on the hunt.
