:::A cold wind sweeps through the valley, scattering leaves and twigs, lifting horses manes. From out of nowhere, a bolt of lightning streaks from the sky, hitting the ground with a sharp crack! From the smoke steps forth a dark steed. The wind continues to howl, but not a hair of his mane is raised from his neck. He remains silent for a moment, surveying the land calmly as the trees are whipped to and fro. He finally flares his nostrils and rears, ebon hooves slicing through the cold, thin air. A piercing call is emitted, silent to all those but the blackest of hearts. With that he swiftly turns, disappearing into the inky blackness. The wind continues for a moment, before dying. The sun comes back, its warm rays descending down upon the land again. It almost seems like nothing ever happened... almost:::
