 Start a search immediately for a NEW superintendent!

The school year is off and running with a plan in place. No big changes.

The intial school budget numbers will come out in February for next year and will provide the framework for the 2011 school budget. Mullin and his administration can certainly work up the draft budget by March.

There will be little to do to finish out the year other than figure head formalities of proms and graduation. Selecting Steve Stone or someone in the existing administration for Acting superintendent for remaining 3 months to serve as only the figurehead is sufficient. This will allow plenty of time to negotiate a new contract with a NEW Superintendent for the New School year 2010-2011. Eight months is plently of time to hire a New superintendent.

Going back to hiring the past superintendent only stirs up the petty politics of the past. A completely NEW Superintendent will bring in a breath of fresh air and rejuvinate our school system. Bringing back Espindle temporarily is uneccesary and only serves to also pad benefits.

Comes down to people holding jobs in school system afraid of change and how it may affect them. If your qualified and work hard you should have nothing to worry about. Right?
