Actually, that's a fabulous idea, thanks Badhbh! And going off of that as well, all of the original masters could take on any form they want; be it a spirit, maybe an elemental, or, I'll give this to you, one of the Elemetal dragons reborn. La dee da! Thank you both!

1) Hmmmm, well, Macha, I imagine they can do all those things, I don't see why not; however, there has to be a weakness in them. Perhaps make it so that they have to train really hard to actually get to the point where they can cast several illusions. As to the blending like a chameleon, I think that's a fabulous idea, no problem with that.
2) Riders can bear weapons, as a matter of fact, I strongly suggest it. Remember, the dragons and Humans are partners, the humans also have to fight, they're not just there to be pretty.

Well, I think that answers all of that. Whee! Questions!
