Her eyes widened slightly at the depressing archery skills of her student. If anything, he'd gotten worse since she last let him touch the bow...

But at least, with bows and arrows, she could see the missile coming. Although tempted to give him a slingshot instead, she decided to let him duke it out with the weapon until he could at least aim.

"No, no, no!" she grumbled, stepping up to wrench the bow from his hand.

"You're not standing properly, nor are you drawing the bow properly... And thus, you aren't getting anywhere with your arrows or your archery in general."

Carefully she demonstrated the proper stance, picking a feathery missile and showing Aduial, very precisely, how to nock it to the bow. Drawing back the bowstring in an overexaggerated motion, she focused on a target and loosed the arrow.

Bullseye.

"Now. Do you have a better idea as to what you're doing wrong? Try again, dear student, and let's just hope you do a bit better this time."

Returning the bow to him she backed off several steps--no need to get harmed by his potentially troublesome archery--and crossed her arms, cold, predatory gaze watching him intensely...
