Clever and quick...

She leapt over his potential shin-strike, arm lashing out in an attempt to catch him with a strike to the back as he darted past. A halfhearted blow, at best.

And, alas... A tree.

"Playing hide and seek, dear student? Come now, that's no place for anyone but a bird... Come down and fight, or perhaps I'll have to bring you down myself?"

She had started circling the tree calmly, edging over to the overturned weapons rack, focusing her intent gaze on Aduial. Leaning down quickly, she snapped up a bow and an arrow, dropping the mace and sword unceremoniously, nocking the missile and letting it fly...

All in the space of a second or two.

It flew true, of course. She had practiced far too hard and too long for it not to. A grin spread across her features as the arrow was sent towards Aduial. It was directed to be a nonfatal blow if it struck... He showed far too much potential to exterminate.

Taking the split-second to collect a full quiver and sling it over her back, she nocked another arrow and held it, point focused on the student, aim unwavering...
