Subject: Wild babies

Hi everyone,I have not posted for a very long time, but do check in once in awhile to see what is happening.
I have had three squirrel boxs on a tree next to the house since last November. Normally I would have taken them down and cleaned them by this time, but one squirrel has been living in one of the boxs, so I did not want to disturb her. She always comes out early eats some food from the feeder, drinks water and back in the box. I quess babies, well I have not seen her the last three nights, so last night I banged on the box, nothing came out. I removed all three boxs, placed them on the deck, this morning I opened the one box, and inside was a dead flyer, I could see she had been nused. Three babies about 5 weeks were under her. She had a wound on the top of her head, who knows what happened to her. The babies are now inside and we are taking care of them. Wish us luck.
