Well... what we do for our little guys is to start mushing up bananas and or yogurts and mix it with formula... adding more "lumps" over time til they get the idea... My guys went straight for the banana and grapes... mostly just licking at first. Probably the overpowering taste is putting your guy off.
Peeled grapes, etc. Shell the nuts early, but don't get into the habit of doing it... they get lazy and prefer you to crack the pecans...
Not sure what the "natural" food source is or have any info on when these guys get weaned, but I would assume it is way past weaning...
