It was rough until it started to settle down. We remained in our room in bed and ordered ginger ale and saltines from room service, feeling very guilty about making them deliver in the rough seas. They cancelled shows, food slid off tables, and yet the gamblers went to the casino, barfbag in hand as did the patrons of the bars onboard, and duty free shoppers in the shops. As I said, weird folks on the ship. Hubby and I just stayed in bed and groaned our distress. We were on the 10th floor of the ship and waves sprayed our window now and then so it was not like the pictures of cruise ship travel. heh heh
I can see it all now on the floor of that fishing boat Dennis, on Lake Erie, it must have been very frightening since that is a big lake to get washed overboard in.....I always said I would wear red shirts if I fished out there so that I would be easy to pick out of the water.
