Dennis, I just finished writing a review of a research article http://www.nfsa.us/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4621&highlight=risch&sid=072e44dc55b321404c5e5e764360b726
and part of it stated, "Female flyers often breed within a few months of their own birth and prior to their first birthday." This was talking about wild flyers. It seems to be pretty common. I wonder if our captive flyers breed later than in the wild because there is a constant source of food available, no preditors and thus no rush to reproduce. What has been your experience?
