You only get one chance a year with them and they did
it for me the first year. I'm sort of at a loss as to
how to handle the situation. Leave her in the cage,
seperate her, etc.. Not sure what will be less stressful.
They are new to me...

I have a pair of Southerns I don't have to seperate. He
knows not to bother her and she does fine raising her
litters with him in the cage. She even swaps nest boxes
with him when she has babies. She is a grand daughter of
one of my best females and he is the grandson of one of
my best males. She has had ten babies in three litters.

I'll keep you in mind on Northerns. Hopefully I'll have
two more litters...
