In reply to: Rebel 's message, "You're gunna have to fun faster than that" on 01:52:00 09/25/02 Wed

ooc:How long have you been rp'ing? I just want to let you in on something. It's not really a big deal with me most of the time but it can really bug someone. What you just posted was known as 'powerplaying'. You cannot assume that you're supremely faster than someone else, that you're attacks always succeed, or anything like that. A better approach would be to say, "The filly charges after her, her neck stretched to its limit, mane and tail streaming behind her. She galloped as hard as she could, trying to close the gap between herself and her quarry." Alright, from there, the person you're posting to would decide if you got close or not and would reply accordingly. Most of the time, people are willing to give and receive. If by chance, they powerplay, call them on it or just stop interacting with them. It gets very annoying when a player decides that their character is above and all others, try not to let it happen to you.
