The first time I got a sugar glider they were pretty old. The guy at the pet store said they were 9 months old, but now that I have seen my others grow I think they may have been older. Anyway I carried them around with me in a pouch at first than just in my cargo pocket. I even took them to work at the petstore. I used to ask kids "do you like poke' mon'?" If they said yes than I would say "I have A poke' mon'" and I would show them velcro and digets. Those two bonded with me so well that I had to go and buy 6 more :).
