Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle. Or was an monkey's uncle. Or was that a uncle's monkey? I never remember! Seriously, I thought, back in '98, after losing Molly, that I might consider a sugar glider. Then a friend called, to say a pet shop in her neighbourhood had flying squirrels for sale. I thought she was mistaking the sugar gliders for flying squirrels, but she insisted she was right. I did not think the flying squirrel was a legal sale item here in New York. We have some pretty weird laws, in case those of you in sane states are unaware of the depths of depravity we New Yorkers suffer through every day (LOL). Anyway, are you familiar with ScarySquirrelWorld? (Most nuts are...) They have some really intersting pages, and if you use their search engine, you can pull up bits about the squirrel infiltration into previously skwerlfree zones! give it a visit, and by all means, drop down, on the homepage, and find the link to "Hot Treetop Action", and visit with "squirrel nutkin" It'll leave you ROTFLYHO! And, if you visit Poet's Pitstop, my poetic effort is "Squirrels Flattened on the Pavement". At Cletus' Art Gallery, found under the Cletus Amazin Art Machine, "Skwerlhugger Molly Kule" & "Skwerlhugger DOA" are my pathetic paintings! It's GCF, when you can't sleep. Which, BTW, is what I'm about to do! C U 2morrow!
P.S. Australians must be much smarter than I thought! There are plenty of days when I wish I could carry all I really need in a pocket or two - and of course, have room in a shirt for a squirrel or five, whatever! And then, just leave home for a while! What a life, huh?!?
