A Simpleton? I think not, but if so, KINDRED SPIRIT!!!
I have what is kindly referred to as an incomplete education. I managed to fool the board of Regents long enough to graduate HS, but never even applied to college. I began working for NYTel, at 17. At 42, I took the retirement offer, and ran like a - well, like a frightened squirrel! Now, I get paid to stay home with my critters. Come to think of it, maybe I'm smarter than I at first thought!!! I never wasted any of my hard-stole money, paying some ivy covered hall of higher BS to "put some learnin' in me"; and other than being taught how to read, I don't recall much of what they tried to teach me in public school. BUT, the reading has served me well, I think... Be well! I'll be back later this evening, while my wee ones climb all over the keyboard, and try to pee on it - their way of trying to save me from the horrors of the internet, don't you think?
P.S. About seeming smart, remember, things are not always what they seem! (LOL!)
