I have not figured out how to put a link, or a photo, in the message space on any of these message boards, so I hope you'll be able to edit, copy & paste the eddress into your browser. Those little Japanese squirrels are just the cutest thing! Are there numbers secure, in their native habitat? Are they bred in captivity, and does anyone know of a zoo that has specimens? I wonder how closely related they are to our Glaucomys, and to the European flying squirrel? Must try some research. Anyone here speak or read Japanese?
