Well, I'll e you with a funny picture of me, on Halloween, along with a photo of Mr. L, the last of the TB's to come home from the track, when my husband passed away. If fact, I'll just forward the letter & photo I sent Lauren. Let me know if it works. And if you can find a way to explain how, I'll post the Halloween photo on Flying Squirrels Message Board. I like the way the multi-boards are working. I don't think Dennis is being restrictive, I just don't think it would be fair for me to start with the non-flyer stuff on Flyers Only. There are other ways of sharing the non-flyer stuff, and I think Dennis has done a remarkable job with the moderation of the Flyers Only.

I was really flattered by your remark. I like to write, and I try to keep some humour going in the things I do write. I have a somewhat misanthropic bend. I wonder if I write too much, but I've always been a fairly good typist. (I can't spell to save my life, though. Thank goodness for the edit, copy & paste function. Every thing I post, I put on an email form first, and check the spelling! And I still miss some!

You have to go to www.deadsquirrel.com, and read what RR put on their guestbook! He's a very funny fellow! You can't take the deadsquirrel pages seriously. The whole thing is a joke that a bunch of college kids started. They don't hate squirrels, no matter what it looks like, on their pages. Trust me on this one. Yes, they get the occasional Nutzi who wants to kill everything except the image in their own mirror, but that is the exception to the usual visitor. The others are all kidding. Some have e'd me at anntdoat@aol.com, and they are very funny folks.

You realise, I'm sure, that Dennis is open to any aspect of GV comment - it doesn't all have to be the genetic/nutrition stuff. I have lots of questions, and Dennis has far more experience with the wee bits of wonderment than do I. Mark also has undertaken quite a project, and will have tons to offer from the description of the breeding plans he has. With such large numbers, he will experience things that those of us with just a handful of flyers, or just the single best friend flyer, will never see. If he can find time to post his experiences, I think we will all learn something worth reading.

And I am looking forward to hearing about the prevost that RR is getting. This board, with an "any sciuridae" forum has already taught me about the mononga - (well, spell check isn't going to help me with that one, is it! LOL!)

I love the photo of Laddie. I have a few of Molly, but none on the digital camera. I did buy a scanner, but it's still in the box. When I get it figured out, I'll scan the old photos to disk.

Well, it's 8 p.m. Time to bring in the horses and feed the cats! I'll e u the letter before I go out! Be well!
