While John and Brigit were gone, Robby and Mike
decided to go to bed, and left with a couple of the
other people. Before they left I got a picture with
Robby and he autographed my ticket right next to
Mike’s autograph. So then it was just me and two of
the road guys, and they were asking each other whether
they thought Johnny went back to the room or if he was
coming back. I told them he had told me to guard his
drink and not let anyone touch it. (One of the guys
reached over and touched it before he left just to
annoy him, lol.) So they decided to wait for him
another five minutes. I agreed because I said Brigit
is with him and she’s my ride, so I can’t leave until
I find her. So we waited around then I spotted them
walking back finally. They had stopped to go to the
bathroom. Johnny sat down again but the other guys
wanted to go to bed because they all had to get up for
an EARLY flight in the morning. So they started to
leave and I asked Johnny for a picture, and he said,
“What would you do if I said no?” I took out my
ticket and said, “I’d ask you for an autograph!” He
signed it, then the road guy asked for my camera and
Johnny called me over for a picture. He was still
sitting down so I knelt down beside him for the
picture, but he was like, “No! What are you doing?
Come here!” and he had me sit on his lap. You can see
in the picture. He wrapped his arms around my waist,
and the guy taking the picture asked how close we
wanted him to take it. Johnny was like, “Well how
intimite do you want it?!” and put his face right up
against mine. “How’s this?” he said and the guy took the picture. I thanked Johnny and they all started to leave and I said, “Hey, I’ve got one more question.”
And I asked him for a kiss. About three years ago a
friend of mine bet me that if I ever asked Johnny to
kiss me he wouldn’t. I took him up on it. I’ve met
Johnny three times since then and every time I
completely forgot to ask him, being off on cloud 9.
But I finally remembered this time! So I ask him, and
he starts going off on, “Well what KIND of kiss do you
want?” I was like, “I don’t know!” I didn’t want to
say oohh a long passionate one (although that’s what I
was thinking of course!) and I didn’t want to say oh
just a peck on the cheek (cuz then that’s all he’d
give me!), but Brigit saved me and said “Oh she wants
one with everything!” What would I have done without
her?! Lol. But Johnny keeps saying no, I have to
tell him what kind of kiss I want. I was like,
“Whatever you want to give me!” All the time he was
getting closer to me and next thing I know he’s
kissing me, tongue and all. Holy shit. He stoped
then kissed me again, then said I was a good kisser!
I was absolutely speechless…all I could get out was a
mumbled “Thanks.” They started to leave (again, lol)
and I thought we were going to go our separate ways
now, but Brigit started walking with them back to
their rooms. They didn’t know the way so they
followed her. Johnny was bouncing down the street and came up and put his arm around me for a while. Then he found out I was ticklish and started trying to tickle me. He was going, “Are you ticklish here?’
[And I’d squirm away.] “Are you ticklish HERE?” [I laugh and squirm away again.] “How about here?” He grabbed my upper thigh, and claimed that was the best ticklish spot. We got to the building their rooms were at, and the sidewalk split and Brigit and I went one way with Johnny following us, and the road guys the opposite way. One of them was like, “Uh, Johnny…” cuz he was going the wrong way, lol. I said goodnight to him and he kissed me again (without my ever asking) and said I have nice lips. I was like “So do you!”
He kissed his way down my neck then grabbed my hand and let it slip out as he smiled at me and walked away. Brigit and I turned and walked to her car and she was laughing at how dumbfounded I looked. She was like, “Wow, I didn’t even get a hug from any of them! And you get a freakin’ KISS from JOHNNY!” All I could was stare into space and say, “Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit…” Ha! My gosh I can hardly keep typing this! Okay okay calm down. That’s not the end of the story believe it or not.
We were halfway to the car and Brigit said, “Hey I
never got to say goodbye to Robby. I liked him!” He
had left while she was gone with Johnny. So she
wanted to go back to his room just to say goodbye. So
we went back and knocked on Robby’s door, and he
answered with his shirt off. He really has lost a lot
of weight, he looks great. He was telling us about
that earlier, how some show host had made fun of him once because of his weight, and that really upset him.
He says that’s what really gave him the initiative to
start loosing weight. He blamed his weight problem on
just eating a bunch of pizza and junk food all the
time. But he said he feels so much better now. He
said he used to wake up weezing (he demonstrated for us) and hardly able to breath, but he feels great now!
He was really proud of himself. Anyways, he answered
the door and Brigit just said she never got to say
goodbye and wanted to tell him she had a good time
talking to him. He invited us in, and we got to
talking again. I noticed he has a very small tattoo
of a music note on his upper left arm/shoulder.
Brigit and I traded phone numbers and decided we had
to keep in touch. I asked Robby to take a picture of
us and he did. Brigit jokingly asked if she could
sleep in the other spare bed (there were two queen
sized beds in his room) completely platonically, cuz
she had a long drive ahead of her. Robby was like,
“Yeah sure. I’m just gonna watch TV for a while.
It’s cool if you guys want to crash here.” Brigit
asked me if I was going to stay, and I said I don’t
know, then I said yes, then I changed my mind and said no. The main reason being that my night had already ended so perfectly, and I was completely content to leave it at that. I asked Brigit if it’d be okay if she took me back to my hotel and she said sure, and asked Robby if he was sure it was okay for her to come back. He said yeah, just knock, I’ll be up. I said goodnight and he gave me a hug, and we left. And that was that.
I talked to Brigit two days later on the phone, and
she told me what happened when she was over at
Robby’s. She said he tried to kiss her, but that
freaked her out because he’d been telling us about his wife all night, and plus Brigit has a boyfriend. She told him she better leave. Robby said he didn’t mean to freak her out and reminded her she had a long drive home. She said she could stay at her mother-in-law’s house in Phoenix which was a relatively short drive.
Robby said you can’t go to your mother-in-law’s house
at three in the morning. She stayed, ut she told me
Robby kept trying stuff, but she wouldn’t let him.
They finally went to sleep in separate beds. In the
morning Robby was on his computer typing something for his fans. He told her, “Yeah, I have a website. I write on it every day.” Lol, he was writing the Daily Goo! So, for all you wondering (and I always wondered about this too!) Robby really does write the Daily Goo himself!
And that is the end of my Goo adventure. I will be grinning ear to ear for at LEAST the next month! I’m like a legend around school now…it’s kinda cool.
People are like, “You are my new hero,” and “You are the best groupie I know,” and “What you pulled off deserves a serious handshake!” and “Wow, you did what’s impossible, what most people only dream of doing!” To tell you the truth, I never even DREAMED of THIS! It was just so…OUT THERE…that it never even crossed my mind. I was in disbelief when I got to chat with Johnny for 10 minutes at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards…I never even imagined TWO HOURS.
And as far as Johnny kissing me, I heard of a girl
once who got a kiss from Johnny, and she said there
WOULD have been tongue but someone pulled him away. I
remember being so jealous and thinking “yeah right,
she’s making it up.” But from the way she told her
story I could tell she was so excited about it and
knew it was probably true. So that’s why I took my
friend up on the bet. But I never thought I’d ever
get to hang out with him so long that he’d even take a
liking to me. Crazy. I always held him and the rest
of the band up in this other world, and I mean it’s
not just a psychological thing, it’s real, they really
are in this other, “untouchable” world. Because
they’re famous, “normal” people aren’t ALLOWED to have contact with them. What do you think all the security is for at shows? They are just normal people. I’ve recently been going to a lot of local rock shows, and I go up and meet the band members after the show while they’re cleaning up their equipment. Or if I’ve already seen them before I just go up and say hi, and they chat with me for a while. I’ve made friends with the lead singer of one local band, Brendan, and he’s invited me over to his place and we just sat and played music (I play guitar too) for a couple hours. (end of pt 4)
