Frentzen on the verge of joining Arrows

Heinz-Harald Frentzen looks on the verge of switching his attentions to Arrows for next season rather than remain at the troubled Prost team.
It is still not clear whether the French manufacturer can sort out its financial crisis to make it to the grid on time for race one of the season in Melbourne.

And Frentzen believes that Arrows provides him the most competitive and secure package for 2002 as a result.
Reports in the Kolner Express, a German newspaper, insisted that the German driver was ready to sign with the Silverstone-based Arrows team.
There he will team up with the team's number one, Jos Verstappen, who agreed a fresh deal with his current employers at the European Grand Prix to stay at the team for a further two seasons.
Enrique Bernoldi will, therefore, be replaced should the Frentzen deal finally go through.
Arrows have been linked with a host of drivers in the end-of-season shake-up, among them Giancarlo Fisichella, who opted to join Jordan instead, and the now Benetton-bound Jarno Trulli.

Tom Walkinshaw last month had told Sports.com: "Enrique has done a good job of it and he's improved throughout the season as well.
"But we want the best possible driver as Jos's team-mate in 2002. It all depends on the drivers first and who eventually makes themselves available to us."

Frentzen is at the head of that list and hinted Arrows was his preferred choice.
He said: "Arrows can make almost everything in-house and is not dependent on suppliers. They have an enormous infrastructure
