she walks in and pets Sterling and takes his halter and lead rope down. she snaps the lead onto the halter and smiles at her gelding. "Hey, Sterilng. Ready to do something?" she unlocks his stall and snaps his halter on his head. she leads him out, shutting and latching the stall door behind her. she ties his lead to the post and begins to groom him thoroughly. when she's through, she grabs a brown English jumping saddle with a numnah. she places them both on Sterling's back a little higher than intended, and then slides them down to their place. that ensures that the hair would not lay the wrong way. she tightens the girth and then clips Sterling's halter around his neck. she bridles him with an eggbutt bit and lays the reins around the post. she takes off Sterling's halter entirely and lets it hang from the lead. she takes the reins and leads him out a ways from the barn. she stops and tightens the girth once more before leading him to the indoor arena. (If I can find it...lol!)
