Dear all,
I am sorry that my message was perceived to be cold or overly concerned about my car.
I did not mean to come off anyway but thankful to be alive, and thankful to have been able to help evacuate many people including 2 NYFD Capt's, by carrying and assisting them onto a boat in the middle of the worst of conditions, 200 Yards from ground zero.
If I lost my car that awful day, It would have been lost. Thats all.
I still have my life and the terrible, vivid, memories of what I lived through, and what many many people didn't live through.
I was posting a message on the Porsche web site, and thus the tone of my message.
I was just trying to say how happy I feel to be alive, how sad I am at what happened on 9/11, and how sorry I am at all the uneeded death and destruction.
No car is worth more than a life NO CAR. (OF COURSE, JOEY)
