Subject: Salave Title Questions

Hi, I love 928s but don't have one :( I am currently looking for one and I found a nice '91 S4 but it has a salvage title. The seller said it was because the person before him replaced the "instrument cluster", which im not even sure what that is. So, is it a terrible idea to buy a car with a salvage title? How can you get a salvage title changed to a normal title? and if anyone has the resources could they look up this vin(WP0AA2928MS810066) and send me the reports.
