Breezy Meadow

. The waning moon is lifted into the inky blackness of the atmosphere, a picturesque, sculpted figure. Nature's pride of the night, the silver, rising sphere of light. A revelation was born .

. Not a blade of grass stirs. Still. Drifting forms with rippling necks lowered, at peace. Complete tranquility .

. But the serenity is broken, within the matter of mere hours. For the flaming, wonderous ball of fire rises into the sky, and the natural light of the moon sinks back into the earth for another sun. The grass dances, swaying in the oncoming breeze .

. A solitary figure eases weight off his fore, lowering tilted hind dagger. Bodice of burnished copper rivals that of the arrogant sun. Crimson plume brushes 'pon taut hocks .

. The leader of the equine, against nature, responsible for the yet to come destruction of the realm of equus .

. Only those who chose to reside in the land and retaliate would succeed. For all could be overcome. Endless time continued to unreveal secrets, and write new chapters in the book of life .
