Todays Girl is the newest, most exciting pageant system in Texas. Our directors and contestants strive to help each other, promote good will and make lasting friendships. I hope this happens for you as well. If I can be of help to you in any way, please do not hesitate to call. For those of you who win portions of your entry fees paid to state, we will be having several fundraisers to help pay your fees. Contact me or any director about getting tickets for the raffle, selling candles, garage sales or other things we have planned to help you. State is such a fun time for our girls and their families! Friendships are made that last a lifetime and our State pageant is such a great confidence builder. Thats why we do this; were molding our girls into future leaders of tomorrow, leaders with confidence, self-assuredness and kindness. These girls will be girls who arent afraid to get up in front of class and read a report; girls who run for class office; girls who have poise and manners. Your daughter is one of those girls or soon will be because you have chosen to be a part of Todays Girl! Our state pageant will be held from June 7th through June 11th, at the Harvey Hotel in Irving, Texas. We will have competitions each night, awards will be presented each night and the nights we arent having competitions, well be having fun parties for the girls and their families. We will also conduct workshops during the State Competition that will cover everything from Modeling to Sportsmanship to Communication! Why didnt they have these things when I was a kid? Additionally, I would like to ask all of our contestants to bring a care package for children who are placed in Foster Care. This will count one hour towards your community service requirement for State. We will deliver these care packages to Hope for Tomorrow. Items to include could be: toothbrushes, diapers, brushes, combs, powder, deodorant, hair gel, etc. Please label the package for either a girl or boy.
