Why are there 2 book covers on your website? On the home page you have a great cover picture of Kidd and Kelli, in typical romance novel scene, which is so funny, but the on line store has another from a listner who won a contest.

Hi, I grew up in D/FW, now live in Killeen (Husband in Army. SO SAD I can't listen anymore, but every once in while on my way on to Ft. Hood, on the back country roads I can hear ya'll. Is this a new Rude Awakening's? It sounded the same as one ya'll read a couple of years ago. Correct me if I'm wrong? Don't get me wrong, but everybody's going all spastic over something I think has already been there, done that. It's ok if it is, I'm just curious. I love ya'll and miss listening very much, I won $650.00 on the cash clock, last April, listen to Kidd when Caroline was a baby, and listen and cried on 9-11,(my husbands birthday). Wish ya'll well.

I was driving to school this morning (around 0700 hrs) and saw a flash in the sky. The object was headed downward at a great speed, then flashed out. When I got torwards 360 I looked towards the expected trajectory point and there was a great deal of black smoke. Has anyone else seen this or heard anything about this?

Hey, I love the book it's really great! I'm also writing a book even though I'm only 15. My "friends" think it's stupid but once you start it's really hard to stop. You know it's hard to stop but you can't, I guess that's why they say once you pop the fun don't stop. Anywayz I just wanted to let you know (if you ever get a chance to read this one) that you are doing an great job with the book, and don't listen to those haters. I'm not exactly sure what color her eyes are as you have referred to them as blue,brown and aqua. You may want to pick a color or just call them hazel as that will cover many colors. I listen ever morning and I love the book. Thanks for writing Big Al in it was great

Then, one day, I was getting ready for work and I realized that I was running late, but instead of thinking that I would be late for work, I thought to myself, "I am going to miss Rude Awakenings!" I only get to listen to you when I am on my way to work, so I make sure that I am out of the house by 7:25 so that I don't miss any of Rude Awakenings! I love your show, you guys are great! For all of those people hating on the book. Bite Me.If you don't get it (the book) you have no sense of humor. Keep your mouth shut and look for you sense of humor. All I want to know is where can I get a copy. Can't find it anywhere. And I can't understand why Al hates the book for a man in a red teddie, I would of thought he would have a sense of humor. This book is the greatest think I have heard in a long time. Good Morning you guy's! I work 7p-7a at the Hospital in Tupelo, Mississippi as a nurse. I absolutely love to listen to ya'll all on my way home in the mornings. Your show is the talk during the night hours. Everyone here is anxious to know what happened if they missed out. This has taken the place of soap-operas for us. The funny thing is that now, anytime I see "Batman" or "Chase Manhattan" bank "stuff", I think of this book. It is scary the way your mind works. I don't normally like romance novels. I am hooked on this on though. You cannot beat someone reading the book for you. Kellie, you are doing a Fantastic job. It would not be the same without you!!

I really have enjoyed Rude Awakenings.....it is kinda like when you go to the dentist and you think that they are going to pull your tooth, but then they say they can just do a root canal.....or when someone asks you if the pants they have on make their butt look big and you say "no" like you mean it, but you are really thinking that you could probably put a tray on the back of those pants and it would stay, but you never give it away cause it would only hurt their feelings.

Actually it has made an interesting ride to school and work for me and my 14 and 15 year old daughters!!! We are enjoying it and read it when we miss it on the radio.

I do not understand why you read this "book" while we are taking kids to school, especially since Kidd has a child. I have to turn ya'll off and cannot listen cause the kids are in the car. You cannot say certain words before 8:00 or 8:30 so why can you read this trashy novel?

Hey Kidd, I just wanted to tell Al that not every listner in the Baton Rouge area is turned off by Rude Awakenings. I think the book is hilarious, so much that when I listen to it, I laugh so hard that my stomach drops to the pit of my stomach much like a can of chicken noodle soup that fell out of a box of other non-perishable items, like if you were trying to load up all the cans to donate to a Thanksgiving or Christmas food drive, and the box was already full, but you had just one more can and tried to set it on top, but then all the cans busted through the bottom of the box and all the cans fell, that's how funny I think the book is...

Just wanted to let you know that the caller from New Orleans has one of many strong "NEW ORLEANS" accents, that is NOT a Cajun accent. A true cajun does not generally come from New Orleans, thus, the reason why she could not sing the song with Kidd. I am half Cajun French and live north west of New Orleans, therefore, I do not have the accent, however, where my familiy is from (the Mamou area) the Cajun accent is very strong. Also, the Houma and Thibodaux areas.

Love, the show. The book is very strange, but entertaining. Keep up the good work!

I've heard some pretty bad hard luck stories in all the years I've been listening to your show, but the lady who just called in about her sister-in-law with five kids just didn't seem to be that down-on-their-luck. She owns a car business? Hey, "not doing very well" for them might still mean more money than I ever see per month!! Please be careful that you don't get taken in by people who are too cheap to buy gifts for their relatives and using you as a free ticket. There are other people out there more deserving.

I love your book. I drove to work at a different time when you read it the 1st time several years ago, but if I would have known it was this good, I would have changed by work schedule! My husband said it sounded ridiculous until I read it in my best "Kellie voice" to him and he loved it. He's caught me reading a romance novel or 2 and gets the satire. Don't you just think it is hilarious when someone writes that they just hate the book and change to another channel when it is being read? That's like saying you don't like a type of vegetable that your mother always tried to make you eat even though you never even ate the vegetable. I love the book! Add to cart! I get to hear Kelly read to me every morning just as I'm making the last few min. of my journey to work. It really picks me up and I'm not as grumpy driving through Corsicana's stop and go traffic! The traffic is bad, like when you are driving through stop and go traffic and you have to stop and then, go some more. Love you guys!

I only get to listen to the show for about 20 minutes on my way to class and this is all I hear. yeah it is funny, but like the macarana, IT GETS OLD. If anything hurry through the rest of the chapters so things can go back to semi-normal. Other than that I really enjoy it.

Hi, I think the people complaining about the book need to realize that it's a JOKE! There were sexual innuendos in Dr. Doolittle and even Bugs Bunny. Guess what? The kids don't get them!!! And if they do get them, hello it's too late! I'm in Baton Rouge and I just want to tell Scott that we miss the Rob and Rob show and now there are only crappy radio stations here and we'd go crazy without the Kidd Kratic show in the morning. I want to know what these beautiful girls see in Big Al, not that I don't think you're great but I wouldn't date you.

Kellie you're great! You just hold out for the right guy and you are soo much prettier than Amy, you just intimidate those guys cuz they know they're out of your league, that's my guess anyway.

You're suppose to be a kid-safe program. I don't think your book qualifies in that catagory. I enjoy your program but I find that my son can not listen as much as he used to be able to. I hope that you can clean it up some so we can enjoy your program together again.

I absolutely love this book. People need to grow up, there is more "sexual inuendos" in a Herbal Essence shampoo commercial than this book. I went to work late everyday when you read this story on the air 4 years ago and I still put everything on hold to listen to you guys now. I cannot start my day without coffee or my Kid Kraddick Morning Show Love ya KIDD!! Love ya AL!! love ya Kelly!! Love ya Scott!!

I don't care what those other haters say, I absolutely, positively, without a single doubt love this book. I wish that I could buy it somewhere but I don't know where to buy it. I love all of you guys. I just started listening to ya'll in September and I haven't missed a show since. I tell all of my friends about ya'll and you really make my day. A college student needs that every now and then. Have a good circus!

What do you mean you can't believe it's not kid friendly? Some of the sexual "inuendos" are pretty blatant(i.e. "her firm bottom sticking up in the air" ) School age boys do NOT need to start the day with this on their minds-Otherwise it's hilarious!!!

Helli! Am I the only one who notices that Rebecca's eyes keep changing colours? In Chapter Eight they're green, and then in Chapter nine they're brown and then hazel. Kidd, for the most part I "get" the book but was that eye-changing thing on purpose? I love it though, I'm starting to get caught up in the plot in spite of myself! You guys are the coolest! LOL, oh my god, this sounds like some of the crap I used to write IN like the second grade. But it's hilarious and the woman that said it's like u know its stupid but you just have to go back, she is soo right. It's funny to listen to you make these similies and anaolgies towards other things, cuz it seems like u r thinking about it yourself if that makes sence, and if anyone doesnt like it well THEY CAN SUCK IT!

This book is fabulous. I have an hour commute every morning and for the fifteen minutes that Kellie is reading this new masterpiece of literature I laugh out loud. I get some stares, but I can't help but laugh. Kidd, you have a gift with words and the similes are exquisite. I think that this book is sort of like the Naked Gun movies with Leslie Neilson. They are so stupid, but you HAVE to watch them! That is no insult....do you know how much money those movies made? OMG!! This book is hilarious and so awesome! You can't help but get into it!! Actually in my journalist class I'm writing a review about it!! This book is SWEET, no matter what anybody else says!! I love the plot and how Kelly reads and everything! Kid ya just need to ignore everyone elses' comments cuz they don't know nothing! And i'm in eigth grade and get the silly humor and Big AL is who knows what and doesn't even get it! GEEZ!! Not to be hatting or anything!!
