 I hate to tell you guys but you are a little late on the trend. "support your local scene" has been done way too many times. The Utah scene already has utahbands.com, punkbeat.com, and utahska.com. What does your page offer that these ones don't? The entire reason to start up a scene page is to provide a service for a scene that isn't already being provided. Why do you think that Rudies All Around and U-ska got together? The utah ska scene didn't need two pages. They only needed one, that's how utahska.com came to be. utahbands.com got togther with utahpromo.com because they didn't need two pages.

And another thing, your site kinda sucks. It isn't all that plesent to look at. I'm sure the information on the page is good, but the way you present it is sort of shoty. I'm sure that all you guys are going to say is "We do it for ourselves, and because we enjoy it." But on your main page you say that it is for the scene. I remember you asking everyone what they think so this is what I think...

I think that you guys (from what I hear, the two of you.) should just stop. I think that you are wasting your time and money trying to do this. You will never run out punkbeat.com so you might as well join em.

and Pete, your a fucking ass hole. I think that someone needs to kick your ass you son of a bitch. That is completely for personal reasons.

I would tell you who I am but I can't because I am affraid to have an opinion simply because I hate the way people take critisism. It seems that people can't take it when someone talks bad about there band or there web page in this case. then everyone gets hurt feelings and no one likes eachother. Then, everyone continues to hate eachother for a clash of opinions. You see, I also provide a public scene service such as your attempt, therefore, I have to be nice to everyone otherwise I get people not liking me for being human. Kind of like the insidence with President Clinton. Not saying I like that man, but because he was president he had to live up to a higher set of rules that far surpasses anything that is expected of us.

So to clear my name I will start with the senceless bull shit...

I love every local band simply for the fact that they are special. I respect them for being musicians and doing what they love. I also think that every effort made toward helping any and every scene deserves a mass amount of praise no matter how shitty the page looks or is or how useless the information on it might be. I love everyone in the scene because we are one big family who loves eachother and we shouldn't have disareements or opinions because we like the same noice (aka. music) so that over powers all differences. I love you all. I'm glad that I can't have an opinion about anyone.
