I actually live in Salem (which is 5 miles from Roanoke, VA). It's beautiful as anything down here and the weather isn't that bad either. Just a pain in the butt to get back and see the family and whatnot when I want to. I say me and you start a petition and get the guys to come down this way and play a few shows;)
Take care of yourself and if you're into hiking or anything let me know and I'll tell you some good spots to go (ie parts of the Blueridge Parkway)
