What's going on in Vegas with Miss America? Usually, the contestants are there weeks ahead, with the parade and preliminary competitions, and special events, but I haven't heard a PEEP about what's going on with Miss America.

It's already Jan. 13, and the pageant is in 8 days. Does anyone know ANYTHING???

Ok, here is what I know, girls left on the 10th to go to Los Angeles. They were on Jay Leno last night. The move to Vegas this weekend. Yes, things do seem a bit scaled back, but I think the publicity has been great. The Times Square Billboard, the videos on comcast, all the commericials, stuff that ABC didn't want to spend money on. Yesterday, (thurs) USA Today ran a story, front page of the Life section. I will try and post a group photo of the girl, and notice, banners are back! Here are the 16 delegates for Miss Deutschland (Germany Universe) 2006. The pageant takes place on January 19th.

The delegates are now spending one week in Turkey for preparation.
