Oooo! I can help! Airewen knows all! Okay. So what did you need to know? Giles became a Watcher-In-Training when he was 10, so I'm guessing that there isn't much of an age limit on the whole "watcher" business. Watchers obviously train for a few years before they start training potentials(teens worhty of the slayer title). When they start training a potential, they teach them all that they know. They teach fighting skills, meditation skills, pretty basic stuff, actually. Did you know that Giles originally wanted to be a grocer or pilot? Anyhoo, there's a Watcher's Council in England that goes to the Slayer and tests her. Like on Buffy's birthday where she had to lose all her power and fight that badass vamp that kidnapped Joyce. Stuff like that. They have the power to fire a Watcher and give the Slayer a different one. Sometimes Watchers can even be evil. Like Faith's old watcher who went all black-eyed baddie on'em. Except less black-eyed more lighting arm. Well, if you think of anything else you need to know, just ask and I sould be able to help you. Hey! I'm like your all things Watcher-y tutor!
