Hey Musicians! Wayne's Texas BBQ in Anchorage (3400 C St.), AKTM & Miller Genuine Draft are presenting Larry Lee's Local Music Contest. This really is a great opportunity for local musicians. Every Saturday night there are ten spots open for competition. Every participant receieves a $10 gift certificate just for entering the contest!! Winners are determined by crowd response (So bring your own Cheerleaders!) There are weekly-winners ($25 for first, $10 for second) and then every 5th week there are semi-finals (Next semi finals rounds are Feb 7th & March 13th -$50 for first, $25 for second). The Finals will be held March 20th. Larry has put together a great contest with some terrific prizes. Prizes include vacation packages (Air fair & Hotel), seperate plane tickets, a guitar, vocal lessons, charter trips and lots of other great stuff. (Too much to list!)

Sign ups begin at 6:pm and the contest begins at 8:pm. Each contestant plays one song, all genres and ages are welcome. come early to sign up and stay late to jam afterward. For more info call Wayne in Anchorage at 569-9911.
